If you pick this out it’s enormous. The puff is more of a frizzy poly-fil puff than any kind of natural hair. There are no individual locks/twists like the model in the first pic, and certainly no color highlights. It’s all one color. But if you’re just looking for volume, it’ll be hard to get a bigger wig for this price.

Of the several wigs I’ve happily taken out of their packaging to find a good facsimile of the product I ordered, the #bug color wig is going to need a lot of work to get it to look even close to the pictures. Large: ✔️ Bouncy: ✔️ Natural Looking: not at all! It’s a “70’s” wig called an afro but has no kink or tight curls. It’s basically (& disappointingly) frizz…& trust me, I know frizz thanks to my natural hair. The color is a single toned pure purple (#086 from LIVE) and it initially smelled worse than any perm job (thankfully, that eventually went away). From the many synthetic wigs I have, this one itches my scalp as well as the nape of my neck. It’s definitely slated as a costume wig for a willing to be tortured soul.

Much better afro style wig than expected. This wig is very big soft and fluffy with a nice round contour and it’s surprisingly lightweight on the head with a very comfortable fit; great for use by women or men to achieve a classic ‘Froe look.
The synthetic hair fibres are fine quality, I could detect no unpleasant odor and the wig cap is also good quality and has some adjustable straps providing a snug fit. Looks great has a lot of Bounce and oodles and oodles of curls can’t go wrong here.

This should be purchased for fun more than function, as it is a great for costumes and other silliness, but not as much for passing as real hair. It’s like wearing pillow stuffing on your head. I feel like cotton swab in it, but I’m not unhappy about it. It’s honestly a good deal for such a low price. I’ve paid more for far worse. Those of us with actual curls will miss the pretty locks a real afro can offer, but it’s still better than what you’d find in a Halloween store. It may just be the one I received, though, because the images on the product page have better curl definition. The one I received had none of that, just what I’m calling my Great Poof of Fluff. At this price point, I doubt anyone else offers more. So, don’t expect the best, but have a good time with it.
