I’m trying to put together some looks to last me through the time my hair is gone during chemo treatments. For low maintenance, I started looking for shorter wigs with definite styles, like 1920s style bobs. I found this one, which was advertised and shown with finger waves and with the hair laying close to the head in a sophisticated and controlled manner. Silly me, to think that was what I would get.
The actual wig is an explosion of unruly but large curls. Even combed, they won’t lay down or be tamed. I’m taking it to my stylist, but I have no great hope that she’ll be able to make it work as I would like it to work. In general, I would have to say that this wig has no style whatsoever, despite the style depicted in the photo.

I bought this to go with my 1920’s Halloween costume for my nephew’s wedding last weekend. This wig did NOT disappoint! The length fell a few inches below my shoulders. The quality was great and the curls/waves were perfect. Care does have to be taken not to disturb the waves/curls too much but I felt like that was to be expected even if you did your own hair that way. The wig fit good. I had tons of compliments. Perfect wig if you are just trying to walk around and look nice. If you are going to be moving at all, it’s not for you.. the curls relax easily with movement.
