I so wanted to love this wig. I have had short hair for most of my adult life. During Covid, I didn’t get my hair cut, and then my hairdresser of 27 years moved to a different state. This means my hair is now down to the middle of my back. I miss my short hair, but don’t trust anyone yet to cut it. So this was the answer.

Nope. There is no part in it, and it’s quite unruly at the base. The hair looks nothing like the cute layers shown in the photos. I have tried and tried most of today, playing with it, wetting it, blow drying it… nothing works to make it look good, or even realistic. It’s too bad, but maybe it can be used for dress up?

This little wig deserves some love. After reading some reviews, I was kind of afraid of what I was going to get, but the HAEIGTD Golden Brown Wig turned out to be nicer than expected. It was easy enough to style with a wig brush and looked good. I definitely would wear this. You do have to know what you’re doing, with this or most wigs. You can’t just plop it on your head and hope. If you’re new to wigs, watch some videos.
The front of the wig didn’t match the picture. There’s less contrast between the dark and the light than in the pictures and the bangs aren’t as long. I was anticipating having to cut the bangs and was happy to find that wasn’t the case. I don’t like a lot of hair in my face, so I swept the bangs to each side, and it looked fine. The back was as pictured.
The hair itself is a little stiff, not the silky kind you find in high-end units. It was easy enough to manage but the styling options are limited. This is the wig you throw on to run to the store or play pickleball, not wear to the opera. It is what it is, and for around $9.00, it’s a good buy.

Be sure to check the reviews to make sure the review matches the product you are interested in. I got the “HAEIGTD Golden Brown Wigs” wig. It’s ok. Texture is a bit shiny and wiggy. There is a color mix, which is more subtle than shown in the listing photo, but not really a natural combination. The brown runs a bit red.

The colours of the wig I got are not as pretty as those on the manufacturer’s page. Yes I know screens can be different but the variety of colours aren’t there .
It doesn’t feel that secure on my head and feels as though it’s a bit of a mushroom wig and may fly off at any minute. That may just be me. Also the cut didn’t seem quite as good either. An ok short wig but I’m not in love with it. The “hair” feels nice though
