    We used this to create a purple plume on a Greek helmet, and it worked great. However, as you can see in the photo, it does spread out quite a bit even on a fairly gentle curve. It looked great, just not exactly like the product picture.

    Also, though the bottom velcro is sticky, a found it needed additional glue to stay stuck.

    This is not bad. You want to be bald like me in order for the velcro to stick properly which is what holds it in place. Also the velcro strip won’t stick long, especially if you are sweating. It certainly produces the desired effect for us frustrated mowhawk wearers.
