   The hair was nice, but the cap was to tight and to small. The part of the cap that the headband was attached to was to thick. The front of the cap hurt the hairline of my scalp.

   There was a chemical smell when this first arrived, so I washed (by hand, my shampoo) and dried (air) first. The hair is synthetic, which helps this item to retain shape, volume, and style. That makes for excellent curl retention. Wearability is throw on and go, with the wig staying where you positioned it thanks to combs under the headband.

   Adorable, comfortable and fashionable! I absolutely love this hairpiece. The synthetic hair is soft, curly and a pretty rich brown. I am a 70 year old female with a fairly large head. This piece fits comfortably on my head with room to spare. The headband is soft and stretchy with a velcro strap that holds securely. The wig has to small combs inside on each side to hold it in place. The inside of the cap is fairly dense material but the wig did not get overly hot on my head.

   What the heck is a white guy like me buying his black wife a wig. Sot take my rating with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, I took a chance as she is trying to hide her grey hair. So I took a shot. It is too black in color for her. She prefers a kind of a brown black. So it was too dark for her. The color is very deep, dark and shiny. It also is very dense and there is a lot of hair in this piece. The hair is according to my wife synthetic in appearance. It has pronounced curls and those fine curls are numerous. This is a design decision that is not meant to fool anybody I guess, as it has a very distinctive appearance that may be just what some people want. But was not what I was supposed to get my wife. Trust me, this was not the first time I got the wrong thing. It is usually not the product, it is me. But this still might be the right hair piece for the right woman, or….person. Who knows these days.

   This is definitely a throw on a go. You just pull it on and snap the head band in the back. Hair is soft and feels human. I think lace front baby hair would really jazz this unit up. If you like you could even add a more decorative headband over the black. I love this throw on and go unit

   This wig is not big head friendly and it is quite short. This will work for someone with a small to medium cap size that wants short hair that does not get in the way at all. The quality of the hair was not too bad just don’t manipulate it much!

   This wig has a really cute curl pattern. It does look a bit fake but for the price I don’t think one can complain about that. I don’t think it’s going to fool anyone into thinking it’s your real hair but I do think it looks nice overall. The hair color is very blendable too, it’s not too dark or light. It’s a super easy wig to use and make look nice because it is a headband wig. My one complaint with it though is that if you already have quite a bit of hair, a wig cap might not be enough to work with this wig because it runs on the small side. So if you have a big head, I’d especially not go for this.

   I was intrigued by this wig bc I’ve never had a headband wig but I knew it’d be a very easy slap on and go option. I was even more interested upon seeing the review pictures posted by “Michelene.” The hair in her review looked very nice. Now that I have the hair, it doesn’t look like hers at all, but it does look like the hair (off the mannequin) in the product listing. Once brushed out it’s a nice, short, curly fro, think Bruno Mars.

   Issues
   Upon brushing to get a fluffier look, there was a lot of white residue that appeared as if there was product not washed off the hair. After washing, this may not be an issue.
   My major issue though is the ridiculous shedding. Whole, thick curls were falling from this wig. I’ve only had it out of the box for an hour so I can imagine this wig losing much more.
   It seems it could be human or a human blend.
   Overall, I would only recommend this for under $20
